According to a survey conducted on 10,000 single men and women in their 20s and 30s by the mobile dating app NoonDate on the 14th regarding White Day, the number one gift women most want to receive was couple items such as couple rings. The second was heartfelt letters, followed by bouquets in third place, perfume in fourth, and candy in fifth.

On the other hand, the number one gift men wanted to give was heartfelt letters. Candy and couple items followed in order.

Single men and women in their 20s and 30s also had different thoughts about White Day.

When asked "What kind of day do you think White Day is?", the highest percentage of men (39%) answered "a commercial day." In contrast, the highest percentage of women (43%) answered "a day for men and women to express their feelings."

For "the date you want to have on White Day," both men and women chose "a drive to a nearby suburb" (men 41%, women 45%). The second choice was a date enjoyed in the city (men 26%, women 24%).

Regarding the cost of White Day dates, the prevailing view was that men and women should share the expenses. The item "taking turns paying each time" recorded the highest percentage (men 46%, women 47%).
