The major indices of the U.S. New York Stock Exchange showed volatility and ended mixed on Monday, the 13th (local time), as they closely monitored the aftermath of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) bankruptcy crisis.
On that day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.28% compared to the previous session. The S&P 500, focused on large-cap stocks, fell 0.15%. In contrast, the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed up 0.45%.
