Holding a Mid-Level Managers Meeting on Hearing and Audit Functions
On the 13th, the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency held a workshop meeting for mid-level managers of the audit and inspection functions in the auditorium on the 4th floor of the main building.
According to the provincial police agency, 73 people attended the meeting, including heads of audit and inspection functions, section chiefs, and civil complaint office managers from all 23 police stations in the province.
The workshop was organized to share key tasks for promoting the audit and inspection functions, focusing on fundamentals and adhering to principles to secure public trust.
At the meeting venue, there were presentations on task guidelines by function, case-centered education and explanations on the changed performance indicators, and announcements of outstanding police stations for public safety achievements in 2022.

Discussions were also held on this year’s policy proposals and future public safety performance management plans.
Participants exchanged opinions on ▲ activating an anti-corruption system centered on the provincial police agency to spread a clean and transparent organizational atmosphere ▲ conducting reasonable audit activities that approach employees and the field ▲ establishing the role as a human rights advocacy institution ▲ conducting empathetic inspection activities through organizational diagnosis, prevention, and adjustment ▲ and re-emphasizing compliance with regulations for responding to police complaint civil petitions.
They also shared difficulties and suggestions from frontline police stations during the period when direct meetings were not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commissioner Kim Byung-soo said, “Going forward, in line with the vision of a safe Gyeongnam and a fair and dignified Gyeongnam Police, we will shift the anti-corruption promotion system to be centered on the provincial police agency this year.” He added, “This is a time when the clean and transparent atmosphere, known as Cheongpung (淸風), which is like a soft and clear breeze blowing through each institution, needs to spread, so please strive to enhance the effectiveness of integrity policies.”
He continued, “I ask all employees of the Gyeongnam Police Agency to create a self-purification atmosphere to prevent duty violations, and for mid-level managers to foster an environment where they can take interest and participate.”
