GH Reorganized into '6 Headquarters 34 Offices 94 Departments' Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation Exterior View

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has made a bold organizational restructuring to achieve its new vision of 'Opportunity Partner GH.'

This reorganization focuses on realizing Gyeonggi Province's policy goals to create spaces with 'more, fairer, and better opportunities.' Accordingly, it actively reflects government innovation measures such as streamlining overlapping functions and strengthening private sector cooperation.

As a result of this restructuring, GH's organization has been adjusted from the previous '6 headquarters, 34 offices, 88 departments' to '6 headquarters, 34 offices, 94 departments,' adding 6 new departments.

According to the restructuring plan, GH first established the Old New Town Maintenance Division and Opportunity Capital Planning Office to support Gyeonggi Province's policy projects. The Planning Office will support projects such as the redevelopment of first-generation new towns and Gyeonggi-style housing policies.

Additionally, the Safety Operation Department within the Safety and Quality Division, directly under the president, was expanded into the Safety Management Office (with 2 departments) and formalized as a regular organization. A Human Rights Center was also newly established to strengthen human rights management.

Furthermore, aiming to enhance the value of residents' housing and urban spaces, a Smart City Project Group was newly established to create smart cities applying 4th industrial revolution technologies and to support private sector cooperation and overseas expansion.

Moreover, to promote efficient land use of underutilized spaces in urban areas and regional development, the Complex Project Office was reorganized into the Compact City Project Group.

Kim Seyong, president of GH, stated, "Through this organizational restructuring for the realization and innovation of Gyeonggi Province's 8th term policies, we have completed preparations to operate as a public corporation trusted by residents. We will do our best as the Opportunity Partner of Gyeonggi Province's 8th term administration."
