The project budget this year is approximately 680 million KRW.

Dong-A University Launches Largest Corporate-Linked Youth Technology Specialist Development Project in the Southeast Region Young technology marketers from Dong-A University, who participated in last year's corporate-linked technology professional training project, are conducting a marketing event at the Busan Technology Market.

This project is a program where the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation hires graduates with bachelor's or master's degrees in science and engineering fields and trains them as youth technical professionals focused on the demands of universities and local companies.

Through this project, Dong-A University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation has hired 231 personnel, of whom 123 have been employed by major domestic corporations, public enterprises, and outstanding local mid-sized companies, significantly contributing to the employment rate of the regional university.

Earlier this year, the foundation achieved excellent results in the qualitative aspect of employment by winning the grand prize and three encouragement awards in the 'Activity Essay Contest' held by the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs.

Kim Seong-jae, head of Dong-A University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and project manager, said, "Over the past five years of implementing this project, we have nurtured youth technical commercialization personnel centered on the demands of local companies and achieved various outcomes such as field-oriented technology commercialization transfer between universities and companies."

Kim added, "Especially this year, being selected as the largest scale among universities in the Southeast region, we will support technology commercialization and field transfer activities within the university to contribute to the utilization and dissemination of public research outcomes."
