JSCO Holdings announced on the 13th that it attended the Korea Small and Medium Business Management Association and Zhouping City, China’s economic and trade investment promotion meeting between the two countries.
With 12 key economic officials attending, including Gon Yak-gon, Vice Mayor of Binzhou City, Shandong Province, and Jang Gyeom, Mayor of Zhouping, JSCO Holdings presented its Philippine nickel mine project at the event. Alongside JSCO Holdings, Celltrion Healthcare was invited as a representative of domestic listed companies. Additionally, numerous technology companies such as Willings, Dow Korea, Rosettatech, and Metis J also participated.
At this meeting, the Korea Small and Medium Business Management Association and Zhouping City, Shandong Province, China, signed a business partnership agreement to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two regions. According to this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in promoting human exchange and industrial cooperation in the Korea-China economic and trade sectors, exchanging information on investment, trade, and new technologies, sharing projects and promoting mutual investment, and facilitating exchanges such as economic and trade exhibitions and forums.
Zhouping City is located in central Shandong Province, China, at the southernmost part of Binzhou City, with a resident population of 800,000. It has been selected as one of the top 100 comprehensive strength counties nationwide for 19 consecutive years and is an emerging industrial city designated as a national high-tech industrialization base and a national new industrialization demonstration base. Gon Yak-gon, Director of the Zhouping City Commerce Bureau, introduced the city’s major industrial clusters, including the current status of each city and corporate support systems, through his attendance at the meeting.
A company official explained, “Through attending this event, we shared JSCO Holdings’ Philippine nickel mine business introduction and future plans,” adding, “It was a meaningful time to build a global network with officials from Zhouping City, China, by sharing ways to activate economic exchanges and market entry between the two countries.”
