Official Opening of Jeonse Damage Support Center in Incheon Region

A Jeonse fraud support center will open in Incheon, where Jeonse fraud damages are concentrated.


On the 13th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Incheon City announced that, considering the urgency of Jeonse damage support in the Incheon area, they temporarily opened the Incheon Regional Jeonse Damage Support Center on January 31, and after budget preparation and other procedures, it will be officially opened.

The Incheon Regional Jeonse Damage Support Center is located on the 3rd floor of Building A in The Sharp Bupyeong Central City shopping mall in Sipjeong-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, and is available for visits and phone consultations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.


The center houses professional personnel such as lawyers and judicial scriveners, along with related organizations including Incheon City and the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), to support victims.


Lee Won-jae, 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, “The government is preparing and implementing various measures to support affected tenants, but for these measures to truly help the victims, the role of the frontline center is crucial,” and added, “I ask the center to carry out victim support duties with responsibility.”


Meanwhile, the opening ceremony, held at 10:30 a.m. on the same day, is expected to be attended by Lee Won-jae, 1st Vice Minister of MOLIT, Yoo Jung-bok, Mayor of Incheon, Heo Jong-sik, Member of the National Assembly, Acting President of the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation, Head of the Incheon Regional Headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), President of Incheon Urban Corporation (iH), and Head of the Incheon Branch of the Korea Legal Aid Corporation.
