Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the donation ceremony for the 'Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal' sponsored by the Mapo District Office Tennis Club on the afternoon of the 10th.
The event took place in the policy meeting room on the 9th floor of the Mapo District Office, with 11 attendees including Mayor Park Gang-su, the chairman of the Mapo Welfare Foundation, and members of the Mapo District Office Tennis Club. The total donation amount from the tennis club was 1 million won, and all club members are public officials affiliated with Mapo District.
Mayor Park Gang-su said, "I am truly grateful that support from various sectors continues for the Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that the Filial Piety Meal project can start smoothly as a representative welfare project of Mapo."
Meanwhile, the district appointed announcer Lee Jae-yong as the promotional ambassador for the 'Resident Participation Filial Piety Meal' on the 20th of last month, and is accelerating efforts for the pilot project of the Filial Piety Meal, which will be conducted from April targeting about 600 elderly people.
