Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Conducts Job Training for New Nutrition Teachers

On March 1, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 12th that it will conduct job training for 24 newly appointed nutrition teachers.


This job training, themed "Practice-oriented Field-customized Education," was prepared to improve the professionalism and work capabilities of nutrition teachers and to guide the main tasks of school meals this year.

The training covered all necessary aspects of meal service operation, including ▲menu planning ▲approval and inspection using the Edufine and NEIS programs ▲meal budget management ▲hygiene and safety management ▲nutrition and dietary education ▲nutrition counseling.


Additionally, to help newly appointed nutrition teachers smoothly adapt to their duties through practice-oriented field-customized education, experienced nutrition teachers were appointed as instructors.


Park Jaehyun, Director of the Physical Education and Health Division, said, "I hope the new nutrition teachers will serve as guardians protecting children's health at schools," and added, "We will continue to build networks between senior and junior nutrition teachers and strive to provide high-quality meals."
