On the 10th, Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, visited Sungkyunkwan University and discussed the development plan for the Sungdae Baseball Stadium with President Yoo Ji-beom.
On this day, Mayor Oh Eon-seok requested President Yoo Ji-beom of Sungkyunkwan University to promptly resume the development of the Sungdae Baseball Stadium site, which had been left vacant for a long time. He also proposed a project plan focusing on contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and providing convenience facilities for residents. Additionally, he expressed his intention to provide active administrative support during the future development project.
The development project for the Sungdae Baseball Stadium site was selected as a preliminary negotiation target for Seoul city urban planning changes in 2014 and was underway, but the project was halted in 2017 due to internal circumstances at Sungkyunkwan University.
