The Organizing Committee of the Gyeongnam Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo held a work meeting with police officials on the 10th at the Sancheong Police Station conference room to ensure safe and successful operation of the expo.
The committee held consultations with the Sancheong Police Station's information security, foreign affairs, and public safety traffic officers, discussing manpower support and road control during the event period.
Officials from the Sancheong Expo Organizing Committee and Sancheong Police Station are shouting "Fighting" after discussing work matters.
The attendees agreed to cooperate for the successful hosting of the event by implementing efficient traffic measures for the safety and convenience of visitors to the expo and installing a security center within the venue.
Police Chief Song Jin-seop said, "This expo is being held in Sancheong for the first time in 10 years and is an international event, so a large crowd is expected, making visitor safety very important," adding, "We will share know-how on smooth traffic management and safety during the expo period."
Park Jeong-jun, Secretary General of the Organizing Committee, stated, "With the active cooperation promised by the Sancheong Police Station, we are confident in the success of the event," and added, "Since this is a major event held in Sancheong County, everyone's cooperation is necessary."
The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo will be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19 at Donguibogam Village in Sancheong County under the theme "Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World." Until the end of this month, tickets can be purchased at a discounted price through advance reservation: 8,000 KRW for adults, 6,000 KRW for teenagers, and 4,000 KRW for children, which is cheaper than the on-site price of 12,000 KRW for adults.
