SPC Samlip announced on the 10th that it is expanding its healthy bakery category by launching a new product, the ‘Roman Mill Whole Wheat Bread,’ made with Roman Mill whole wheat.
Roman Mill Whole Wheat Bread is made using whole wheat from the authentic global whole grain specialist brand, the US-based Roman Mill. Inspired by the fact that Roman soldiers used to consume whole wheat and rye daily to boost their stamina, the bread is enriched with superfoods such as whole wheat, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and flaxseeds to increase dietary fiber and protein.
The new products include the ‘Roman Mill Whole Wheat Morning Roll’ and ‘Roman Mill Whole Wheat Stick Bread,’ which harmoniously combine whole grains and nuts to deliver a mild and savory taste. Unlike the coarse texture of typical grain breads, these feature a soft flavor.
Additionally, a ‘Roman Mill Whole Wheat Donut,’ which can be enjoyed as a light snack, is scheduled to be released in mid-month.
The new products are available for purchase at supermarkets and marts nationwide.
An SPC Samlip brand representative said, “As consumer interest in healthy food increases, we have expanded the Roman Mill whole wheat bread line. We will continue to introduce various category products using Roman Mill to develop it as Samlip’s representative whole wheat bread brand.”
