Shinsegae International announced on the 10th that EX NIHILO, a French niche perfume brand, will release its first new fragrance of the year, "Vesper Glitz Eau de Parfum," inspired by the nights of Paris, the brand's origin.
EX NIHILO is a luxury perfume brand that started in Paris, France in 2013, offering a collection of perfumes for the world's top-tier customers. It was launched in Korea in 2020 and is imported and sold by Shinsegae International. It is highly popular among domestic perfume enthusiasts for its rare ingredients and luxurious scents.
All EX NIHILO perfumes are known for being made using the finest ingredients without any cost restrictions. The price of one 100ml bottle of Eau de Parfum produced in this way can reach up to 640,000 KRW.
In Korea, popular products include the signature "Fleur Narcotique Eau de Parfum" and "Santal Calling Eau de Parfum," which has received positive feedback for its unisex scent. EX NIHILO's sales last year increased by 82% compared to the same period the previous year, and sales have more than doubled this year.
The new product, Vesper Glitz Eau de Parfum, was created inspired by the glamorous nights of Paris, the birthplace of EX NIHILO. It features a captivating floral scent that expresses the dazzlingly shining Parisian night and the free-spirited Parisians enjoying it. Immediately after applying the perfume, the fresh citrus scent of pink pepper and neroli gives a lively feeling. This is followed by the rich floral aromas of jasmine and mimosa. Finally, vanilla and musk gently envelop, leaving a subtle lingering scent.
To celebrate the launch, a generous customer appreciation event has been prepared. Until the 12th, a payback event is being held on Shinsegae International’s own online mall, SI Village, where customers receive 30% of the total purchase amount in e-points when purchasing EX NIHILO products. The accumulated e-points can later be used like cash for up to 50% of the payment amount on future purchases. All customers will receive two samples of EX NIHILO’s popular fragrances and a shopping bag. When purchasing Eau de Parfum, an additional 7.5ml portable perfume is also given.
A representative from Shinsegae International said, "This new product is expected to receive a good response as it is a scent that even customers who find niche perfumes difficult can easily try," adding, "We plan to continue introducing various products that convey EX NIHILO’s unique luxurious identity in Korea."
