Lotte World Tower has been newly renovated inside and out to welcome spring.
Lotte Property & Development announced on the 10th that it has begun maintenance work on 'World Park,' the outdoor lawn plaza that first greets customers visiting Lotte World Tower. The 3,600㎡ (approximately 1,100 pyeong) lawn plaza is being transformed from the Charlotte Garden, which attracted attention as a giant Christmas garden at the end of last year, into a green space. Various cultural content events will be held in the renewed World Park.
Stores preparing to open for the new season are also bustling. Recently, bakery and dessert brands popular among the 20s and 30s demographic have been opening one after another. The caf? 'Matte Black,' known on social media (SNS) for its 2D drawing interior directly created by global artist Joshua Vides, will open next month on the 4th floor of Lotte World Mall. Matte Black, headquartered in Los Angeles, USA, is opening its second store at Lotte World Mall following the opening of its first domestic store in Pangyo last year.
'Knotted World,' the first flagship store of Knotted, which sparked a nationwide donut craze, will unveil in March. As a large-scale store of about 992㎡ (approximately 300 pyeong), the second floor will be designed as a signature store for brand collaboration pop-ups, transforming it into a complex cultural space. Limited menus, goods, and exclusive packages available only at Knotted World will be introduced.

Lotte Cinema on the 5th floor of Lotte World Mall has renewed its flagship special theater 'Superplex' for the first time in eight years. The number of seats, which was the largest in the country at 628, has been reduced to just 295, about half, while enhancing 3S (Screen, Sound, Space) technology to provide complete immersion and the best viewing experience. The premium screening room 'Charlotte' is also undergoing a full renovation.
The customer restrooms are being completely renovated. Under the concept of 'Giftium,' meaning a gift-like space filled with joy and pleasure for visiting customers, the basement level 1 is designed to look like a pile of gift boxes, and the 1st and 2nd floors feature flexible curved frames and a warm mood to create a cozy atmosphere, considering the surrounding stores. The corridors, restroom doors, and stall interiors have been designed with ample width for comfortable use, and the family room, which can easily accommodate large strollers, has had its entrance location changed to optimize flow, reorganizing the space layout. So far, parts of the restrooms on four floors have been renovated, and sequential renovation openings are planned through June.
