Seoul Scholarship Foundation Opens Applications for 'Seoul Hope Public Interest Talent Scholarship'

A Total of 50 University Students with Public Service Experience Selected

The Seoul Scholarship Foundation announced on the 10th that it is recruiting recipients for the 'Seoul Hope Public Interest Talent Scholarship' to support future talents who have a social awareness of issues and demonstrate public interest leadership.


The 'Seoul Hope Public Interest Talent Scholarship' is awarded to students with experience in the social public interest field. Selected scholars receive an annual scholarship of 4 million KRW and the opportunity to grow as experts in the public interest sector by planning and managing social public interest projects on their own.

Eligibility requirements include being an undergraduate student (including those on leave) enrolled in a regular semester at a four-year university or junior college located in Seoul, having academic records for the regular semester, and having experience in social or public interest activities within the last three years.


The application period is until 5 PM on the 20th, and applicants must apply directly through the foundation’s website and then send the documents by mail.


Lee Hoe-seung, Acting Chairman of the Seoul Scholarship Foundation, stated, “Public interest activities are essential to society, and it is necessary to encourage students with high growth potential in the public interest field through scholarship support and other means. We hope that many students will grow into experts in the public interest sector through experiences participating in such social change projects.”
