Seven Eleven Signs Business Agreement with Dankook University to Support Youth Entrepreneurship

Initial Investment Support for University Students Wanting to Start Convenience Stores

On the 10th, Seven Eleven announced that it will sign a 'Youth Startup Support Business Agreement' with Dankook University.

Seven Eleven has partnered with Dankook University to support the 2030 generation, who are highly interested in convenience store startups, and to help solve employment difficulties. The agreement provides various startup support benefits to current students and startup candidates who graduated within the last four years.

Under this business agreement, opportunities will be provided to actually operate Seven Eleven stores for a certain period, and initial investment funds will be supported to minimize the startup burden for young entrepreneurs who find it difficult to secure a large sum of money. During this period, academic matters will be given top priority.

Dankook University students and startup or job-seeking candidates can sign a renewal contract if they wish to continue operating the convenience store after completing the store operation for a certain period. If they prefer to join Korea Seven instead of starting a business, they will receive preferential treatment in the hiring evaluation as outstanding operators based on their experience. Starting with this agreement with Dankook University, Seven Eleven plans to expand such startup and employment support opportunities to other universities and vulnerable student groups in the future.

We plan to broaden the scope of support to vulnerable youth preparing for independence to provide stability in life and practical self-reliance.”
