Kim Siwon, Who Changed His Name, Signs Sponsorship Contract with Angang Construction

Kim Minseon Returns with New Registered Name for 5th Season
Park Bogyeom Also Joins as New Member

Angang Construction announced on the 9th that it has signed a sponsorship contract with Kim Siwon (28), who has won five times on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.

Kim Siwon, registered under the name "Kim Minseon 5," has claimed the top spot five times in total on the KLPGA Tour. After taking a break last year due to injury, she changed her name and is looking forward to a new leap forward with her new sponsor. She expressed her determination, saying, "I am honored to return to the tour with Angang Construction," and added, "I want to show growth once again with the mindset of a rookie."

Angang Construction also signed a new sponsorship contract with Park Bogyeom (25), who is entering her third year on the KLPGA Tour. They renewed contracts with Lim Jinhee (25) and Kim Seeun (25), who joined when Angang Construction Golf Team was founded last year. Lim Jinhee, who secured the first victory trophy for the Angang Construction Golf Team by winning the 'McCol-Monapark Open' last year, said, "I will do my best to repay with better results this season than last year."

Angang Construction has completed the golf team with a total of eight members: six players on the KLPGA regular tour, Kim Seeun on the Dream Tour, and Ko Kyungmin (29), who mainly focuses on broadcasting and lessons. They are also scheduled to participate in the upcoming The Ocean Beach Condo-Ballistic Cup Golf Team Competition starting on the 17th.
