The County and Residents Unite to Strengthen Their Commitment to Regional Revitalization
Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do recently held the "Byeongyeong-myeon Urban Regeneration Project Progress Briefing and Residents' Council Meeting" at the Byeongyeong-myeon Office, attended by about 50 people including the urban regeneration residents' council and related parties.

According to the county on the 9th, this briefing was an opportunity to share detailed plans for each project to be promoted from this year, including sharing program plans to strengthen residents' capabilities, and to collect residents' opinions.
There was also an explanation of the Bulgeumbulpa (Burning Friday Bulgogi Party) project, a key initiative of the 8th local government administration, and the Ministry of Environment's Hangaeul Waterway Rest Area creation project.
On this day, members of the residents' council unanimously said, "Through the briefing, we were able to resolve local residents' questions about the projects, and it was a meaningful time to share opinions between the public and private sectors for the development of Byeongyeong-myeon."
The main contents of the Byeongyeong-myeon urban regeneration project include △ creating themed streets through the maintenance of Han Alley △ renovating old houses (28 units) △ establishing the Byeongyeong DIT Culture Center △ creating the Byeongyeong Village Hotel △ creating a youth startup space at the Byeongyeong Oil Market △ operating resident participation village cultural and artistic projects △ operating children and youth village regeneration programs △ resident urban regeneration university and resident proposal contest projects.
