CJ Logistics has been recognized for its 'cross-border parcel delivery' logistics capabilities by Incheon International Airport Corporation.
On the 9th, CJ Logistics announced that it was selected as an outstanding company in the logistics company category at the '7th Incheon Airport ICN Awards' hosted by Incheon International Airport Corporation.
The ICN Awards, held annually by Incheon International Airport Corporation, is an event that selects and awards businesses and employees who have contributed to improving services at Incheon Airport. A total of 17 outstanding businesses were awarded, and CJ Logistics was selected in the logistics company category.
In particular, CJ Logistics received the highest grade in all detailed evaluation criteria for logistics companies, including ▲international business capabilities ▲number of transportation contracts ▲promotion of social value ▲safety management, recognizing its contribution to the development of Incheon Airport's logistics hub.
CJ Logistics operates the 'Global Distribution Center (GDC)' with a total floor area of 14,000㎡ (4,200 pyeong) within the Incheon Airport Free Trade Zone. It handles an average daily volume of 20,000 boxes. The Incheon GDC center functions as a forward base and an Asian regional hub. It imports and stores products from global e-commerce companies. It sorts and repackages products according to individual orders from seven countries in the Asia region and ships them.
Additionally, it operates the 'Incheon Custom Clearance Center (ICC)' with a total floor area of 5,350㎡ (1,620 pyeong) that processes overseas direct purchase products. The Incheon ICC center is equipped with advanced logistics facilities such as high-speed X-rays for rapid customs clearance and cross-belt type automatic sorting equipment to automatically classify products, capable of handling an average daily volume of 50,000 items.
Furthermore, once customs clearance is completed, consumers can receive overseas products faster because delivery is made to their doorstep through CJ Logistics' largest domestic delivery infrastructure and network using the 'O-NE' service.
Jang Young-ho, Head of CJ Logistics Forwarding Division, said, “The Incheon GDC center and Incheon ICC center, equipped with advanced systems and infrastructure, have established themselves as Korea’s representative global advanced logistics centers. Based on differentiated operational capabilities and experience, we will provide the best global logistics services to domestic and international consumers.”
