Woods Sued by Girlfriend... "Confidentiality Agreement Invalid"

Herman Files Civil Lawsuit After 5-Year Relationship... 'Breakup'

‘Golf Emperor’ Tiger Woods (USA) has broken up with his girlfriend Erica Herman.

On the 9th (Korean time), American ESPN reported, "Herman filed a civil lawsuit at the Martin County Circuit Court in Florida, USA, claiming that the ‘confidentiality agreement agreed upon with Woods is invalid.’" Herman, who is eight years younger than Woods, born in 1975, signed the confidentiality agreement in August 2017 when they started dating. The media reported, "Herman's lawyer claimed that ‘Woods is trying to force Herman to keep details related to him secret through the confidentiality agreement.’"

Woods Sued by Girlfriend... "Confidentiality Agreement Invalid" Tiger Woods is seen smiling brightly with his girlfriend Erica Herman at The Open last July.

Woods dated Herman for over five years. Herman was also by Woods' side when he won the 2019 Masters Tournament, known as the ‘Champions Series.’ Woods married Elin Nordegren (Sweden) in 2004 and had one son and one daughter but divorced after a sex scandal in 2009. Afterwards, he dated ‘Ski Queen’ Lindsey Vonn and stylist Kristin Smith. Since 2017, he has been in a relationship with Herman.

It is not known exactly when Woods and Herman broke up. The basis for Herman's claim that the confidentiality agreement is invalid in this lawsuit is the U.S. ‘Speak Out Act.’ This law states that confidentiality agreements lose their effect if related to sexual assault or sexual harassment. Depending on the progress of this lawsuit, Woods may be embroiled in another sex scandal.

When Woods participated in last month's PGA Tour Genesis Invitational, Herman did not accompany him. Although there were many expectations that Woods would participate in the 5th major, The Players Championship, which opened on the 9th, he ultimately did not attend. Woods is expected to appear at the first major, the Masters, held on the 6th of next month.
