The Dong-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 8th that it has appointed the 2022 fiscal year settlement inspection committee members at the 299th extraordinary session.
The settlement inspection committee consists of three members: Dong-gu Council member Park Hyun-jung as the representative member, accountant Jang Hyun-seop, and tax accountant Mo Hyun-jung.
The committee members will comprehensively examine the 2022 revenue and expenditure settlement, financial statements, and performance reports over 20 days from March 31 to April 19 to verify whether the budget executed by the district last year was used without waste and according to its original purpose.
The Dong-gu Council plans to receive the settlement report reflecting the opinions of the settlement inspection committee from the executive branch and approve the 2022 fiscal year settlement approval plan at the 301st first regular session in June.
