Filled with the Scent of Flowers, Melting into Busan Spring... 'Busan City Spring Flower Map' Created

Colorful Busan Spring Flower Festival and Flower Viewing Spots

Cherry Blossom Tunnel Road and Flower Life Photos: Spring Flower Guide

Busan City is producing a ‘Spring Flower Map’ that allows visitors to see spring flower festivals and attractions at a glance, aiming to attract domestic and international tourists.

Following last year’s production of the Busan Festival Map ‘Yeogi Eotteokno?’ to revitalize Busan festivals, the city is planning seasonal, theme-based promotions this year.

As the first step, the city presents a map capturing Busan’s spring to citizens and tourists embarking on spring trips.

The map includes not only Busan’s representative spring festivals but also popular spots for spring flower photos and nearby tourist attractions, serving as a valuable resource to help visitors fully enjoy Busan’s spring.

Spring flower festivals include the ▲Geumjeong-gu Yunsan Cherry Blossom Festival (March 26) held around Yunsan in Geumjeong-gu (from Seogok Elementary School to Seodong Library), the ▲Gangseo Nakdonggang 30-ri Cherry Blossom Festival (March 31 to April 2, 3 days) at Daejeo Ecological Park and Maekdo Ecological Park in Gangseo-gu, the ▲Samnak Cherry Blossom Festival (April 1) at Samnak Ecological Park and Nakdong Embankment in Sasang-gu, and the ▲Busan Nakdonggang Canola Flower Festival (April 8 to April 16, 9 days) held at Daejeo Ecological Park in Gangseo-gu with canola flowers as the backdrop.

The festivals feature various programs including opening ceremonies, citizen experience programs, food stalls, and street performances, offering visitors healing experiences alongside fully bloomed cherry blossoms and canola flowers.

Spring flower viewing spots include cherry blossom tunnel paths, colorful flower photo locations featuring daffodils, tulips, and plum blossoms harmonizing with the Busan sea.

Major attractions include ▲the Cherry Blossom Tunnel at Maekdo Ecological Park, ▲Busan Democracy Park where double cherry blossoms are in full bloom, ▲Hwangnyeongsan Cherry Blossom Road, ▲Peace Park filled with plum blossoms, and ▲Oryukdo Sunrise Park abundant with daffodils and canola flowers.

The spring flower map can be downloaded from the Busan City website and accessed through Busan City’s official social media channels.

Son Tae-wook, Director of the Tourism Promotion Division of Busan City, said, “We hope visitors fully experience Busan’s spring while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the sea and rivers unfolding with spring flowers in Busan’s natural environment.” He added, “We will continue to actively discover various tourism contents to attract many domestic and international tourists to Busan.”
