GS25, Whiskey Open Run Event... "Record-Breaking Largest Quantity"

Sale of Over 8,500 Bottles Including Balvenie

GS25 announced on the 8th that it will hold the 'Whi-Run' (Whiskey Open Run) event with the largest quantity ever on the 10th at 10 a.m.

For this event, about 5,000 bottles of 12 types of single malt whiskey, including Balvenie 12 Year DoubleWood and Glenfiddich 15 Year, known as sold-out makers, have been prepared.

In last month's event, popular whiskeys such as Balvenie 12 Year DoubleWood and Russell Reserve Single sold out on the day of the event. Additionally, at the Kim Chang-soo Whiskey Special Edition Open Run event held at the GS25 DXLAB store, all 38 bottles prepared were sold to customers who had been waiting since two days before.

A GS Retail official said, "At the fourth Whi-Run event, the quantity of single malt whiskey prepared by GS25 will be the largest ever in the convenience store industry," adding, "We plan to continue various collaborations with suppliers to secure even more stock in the future."
