Holding a Strategy Meeting to Focus on Business Development
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam is accelerating the establishment of an investment plan for the Local Extinction Response Fund.
Sancheong-gun announced on the 7th that it held the "2024 Local Extinction Response Fund Investment Plan Discovery Strategy Meeting" at the county office's main conference room.
At the strategy meeting, discussions were held on the performance of the Local Extinction Response Fund from 2022 to 2023, the 2024 investment plan projects report, and the discovery of additional projects.
Gyeongnam Sancheong-gun is holding a meeting to develop investment plans for the 2024 Local Extinction Response Fund.
In particular, in-depth discussions were conducted on discovering projects for the 2024 Local Extinction Response Fund investment plan to respond to regional population decline and strengthen local living conditions.
Accordingly, the county plans to focus on project discovery to receive an excellent rating in the investment plan evaluation.
To this end, after contracting with a service company, strategic detailed projects are being discovered through analysis of local conditions such as living infrastructure, housing, transportation, welfare and medical care, culture, tourism, economy, and education.
A county official said, “We are putting great effort into establishing the investment plan by collecting opinions from local residents through local vitality resident idea contests and youth meetings. We will continue to gather various ideas through resident surveys and forums and devote ourselves to discovering the best projects suited to local conditions by utilizing expert groups.”
Sancheong-gun was the only one among the 18 cities and counties in the province to see a population increase in January. As of January, Sancheong-gun's population was 34,093, an increase of 65 from December of last year.
