E-Land Launches Luxury Independent Brand Grand Kensington
E-Land Kensington Hotel & Resort is launching its luxury independent brand, 'Grand Kensington.'
On the 6th, E-Land announced, "We are launching Grand Kensington, a luxury independent brand reflecting a premium lifestyle," adding, "As the top-tier brand in the Kensington Hotel & Resort portfolio, it aims to maximize the value enjoyed by customers by offering true relaxation in nature and a private journey."
The first Grand Kensington will be introduced in Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province. It will be built on a 15,285㎡ site near the current Kensington Resort Seorak Beach, in the Bongpo-ri area of Toseong-myeon.
Scheduled to open in 2025, Grand Kensington Seorak Beach will be designed with the motif of a cruise embarking on a grand voyage. Through the concept of "the most beautiful private beach resort on land," it plans to create a new level of resort experience never before available. In particular, various spaces will be designed using water to provide guests with unique experiences.
Inspired by the rocks of Goseong, the 'Rock Cliff Lagoon Pool' will be designed as an architectural element harmonizing with nature, and guests can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view through a 16-meter glass "Hanging Pool" that appears to float over the sea. An indoor family heated pool called 'Oceanfinity,' which offers panoramic sea views through large windows, will also be created.
E-Land Kensington Hotel & Resort plans to accelerate the chain expansion of Grand Kensington starting with Grand Kensington Seorak Beach. At the approximately 890,000㎡ Kensington Resort Seorak Valley, currently operated with a Swiss theme, they will add themes from the four Alpine countries (France, Italy, Germany, Austria) to create a European-style themed village called Grand Kensington Seorak Valley. Subsequently, they plan to gradually open a luxury resort chain including a roughly 100,000㎡ Seorak Beach complex resort and an 80,000㎡ Pyeongchang private resort.
Meanwhile, the Grand Kensington brand can be experienced at the Grand Kensington Members Club, a members-only lounge operated by Kensington Hotel & Resort at the NewCore Gangnam branch in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
