Neowiz announced on the 6th that it has signed an exclusive Asian publishing contract for ‘P-ui Geojit’ with Shinsegae I&C.
Through this contract, Neowiz will utilize Shinsegae I&C’s online and offline distribution channels, which operate various IT distribution businesses including IT devices, software, and games. The two companies plan to distribute the ‘P-ui Geojit’ console package in Asian countries including Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
Park Seong-jun, head of Neowiz, said, “Shinsegae I&C, with its professional online and offline distribution experience, is the optimal partner to introduce ‘P-ui Geojit’ to the Asian game market,” adding, “We will closely collaborate with Shinsegae I&C to actively promote the unique fun and excellent gameplay of ‘P-ui Geojit’ to users.”
‘P-ui Geojit’ is a soul-like single-player action role-playing game (RPG) adapted as a brutal drama from the classic fairy tale 'Pinocchio.' Its most distinctive feature is the differentiated combat system, including weapon combinations. Recognized for its high gameplay quality, it won three awards at ‘Gamescom 2022’ last August, becoming the first Korean game company to achieve this. It is scheduled for a global simultaneous release this August. It will be available on PlayStation (PS) 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
