Jang Ye-chan "Elders Trained by Mister Trot... High Voter Turnout Encouraging"

"Lee Jun-seok is 'Junseokdae'"

'Chin-Yoon (親尹)' Jang Ye-chan, a candidate for the Youth Supreme Committee member, viewed the high voter turnout in the People Power Party's mobile voting held last weekend as "encouraging" and expected it to work in favor of the pro-Yoon faction.

On the 6th, Jang said on MBC's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' that "I view the high turnout in the mobile voting very encouragingly."

During the People Power Party's mobile voting over the past weekend, the turnout reached 47.51%, marking an all-time high. Jang interpreted this positively, saying, "It seems that party members' desire to support the Yoon Seok-yeol administration is consolidating."

However, candidates from the 'Lee Jun-seok faction' interpret the high turnout as a 'rebellion vote.' Cheon Ha-ram, a candidate for party leader, analyzed it as "a rebellion of the silent majority" through his social networking service (SNS).

Jang said, "The so-called 'Lee Jun-seok Kids' side said that many young people participate in mobile voting, but I think the support rate among young people is much higher for the so-called pro-Yoon candidates, and also, our party's traditional members are very familiar with mobile voting." He added, "Since they are seniors trained by Mr. Trot, this is not disadvantageous at all."

Regarding former leader Lee Jun-seok's press conference held a day before the mobile voting, where he compared President Yoon Seok-yeol to 'Eom Seok-dae,' Jang said, "I want to call it 'Jun-seok-dae.' I don't know what he felt in established politics, but in the youth political group, former leader Lee Jun-seok acted like a legal exception for nearly ten years, doing whatever he wanted." He added, "I want to tell him to reflect on why netizens call him 'Jun-seok-dae.'"
