Looking for 'Ulsan Tourism' Content... Contest with Total Prize Money of 20 Million Won

March 15 to April 14, 1st Prize Award of 5 Million Won

Ulsan City is seeking ideas to develop and commercialize tourism content.

On the 6th, Ulsan City announced that it will hold the "2023 Ulsan Tourism Content Idea Contest." The theme of the contest is "Ulsan Tourism." Participants can submit ideas reflecting all tourism resources such as various events, culture, natural scenery in Ulsan, as well as new tourism trends.

Anyone can participate, and from March 15 to April 14, individuals or teams can submit only one entry per person. Applicants must fill out the application form posted on Ulsan City's website and submit it via email or by mail to the Tourism Division of Ulsan City Hall.

The submitted ideas will go through a review process, and a total of 16 winning entries will be selected in April, with a total prize of 20 million KRW, including 5 million KRW for first place.

Seo Daesung, Director of the Culture, Tourism, and Sports Bureau, said, "This will be a great opportunity to raise nationwide interest in Ulsan tourism and strengthen the capabilities of the local tourism industry," adding, "We hope many people with creative ideas will show great interest and participate."

Based on the 16 selected ideas, Ulsan City will hold a second contest in the second half of the year to develop feasible tourism content and commercialize it. The tourism content selected in the second contest is planned to be commercialized within this year.
