'2023 Village Making Contest Project' Recruiting Resident Groups and Organizations
Supporting village projects discovered and proposed by residents to recognize and solve various village issues
Contest in three categories: Neighbor Making, Youth Village Making, and Our Village Making
Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is conducting the '2023 Seongbuk-gu Village Making Contest Project' to revitalize the Seongbuk village community.
The '2023 Seongbuk-gu Village Making Contest Project' is a village community revitalization project that supports village projects discovered and proposed by residents to recognize and solve various village issues such as safety, communication, welfare, culture, and environment.
The project period is from June to October this year, with a total support budget of 30 million KRW, providing support ranging from 800,000 KRW to a maximum of 2 million KRW per participating group.
Applicants must be resident groups (3 or more people) or organizations (non-profit private corporations, non-profit private organizations, etc.) whose residence or living area (workplace, school, etc.) is in Seongbuk-gu. Applicants can apply by filling out related documents such as the project plan and participant list announced on the district website.
This contest project is conducted in three categories: ▲New neighborhood-based village community group activities ‘Neighbor Making’ ▲Youth-led village community activities ‘Youth Village Making’ ▲Continuous village community project activities ‘Our Village Making’.
The evaluation criteria mainly include the necessity and creativity of the proposed project and regional connectivity through the utilization of local resources. The final selection will be announced in May.
The Seongbuk-gu Village Social Economy Center will hold a project briefing session on March 14 to help residents understand and actively participate, providing detailed support conditions and content for each project category, guidance on how to write the project plan, and counseling for residents who find it difficult to write project proposals.
Applications for the 2023 Seongbuk-gu Village Making Contest Project can be submitted from March 13 to 24 either by visiting (Autonomous Administration Division) or via the person in charge’s email. Detailed information can be found on the Seongbuk-gu Office website under Seongbuk-gu Introduction - District Administration Notice Board.
Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “We ask for the interest and participation of many residents in the '2023 Seongbuk-gu Village Making Contest Project' so that Seongbuk-gu can become a vibrant village through continuous resident participation and diverse activities.”
