The event will take place on the 30th at The Players GC in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, and on the 6th of next month at Lotte Skyhill CC in Buyeo, Chungnam. Since 2004, KGCA has annually selected qualified amateur golfers through practical tests. The program includes theoretical education for golf instruction such as sports mechanics, golf rules, and golf teaching methods, as well as golf injury prevention and safety education that may occur at golf practice ranges.

Outstanding students aspiring to become golf instructors are provided with employment opportunities. KGCA supplies qualified personnel to golf practice ranges that require golf instructors and safety managers. Each year, those who pass the practical test and complete the theoretical education in the first and second halves of the year are awarded golf instructor certification. The passing scores are 81 strokes or less for general men, 83 strokes or less for general women, 83 strokes or less for senior men, and 85 strokes or less for senior women.

Participants include not only amateur golfers with a strong interest in golf instruction but also active professional golfers, lesson pros, golf practice range representatives, employees of golf-related industries, self-employed individuals, university professors, and professionals. KGCA has produced approximately 1,000 golf instructors. It also operates an online community for members to promote camaraderie.
