“Overseas Expansion Business Cooperation”… Daegu Gyeongbuk Textile Association and Vietnam Garment Association Join Hands

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Textile and Fabric Industry Cooperative (Chairman Lee Seok-ki), which oversees the 'K-Fashion Online Distribution Network Establishment' project, and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VU DUC GIANG, Chairman Vu Duc Giang) signed an MOU on the 3rd to collaborate on overseas expansion projects in regional textiles, fashion, and bedding.


The signing ceremony held at the Daegu Textile Hall was attended by about 30 people, including Lee Seok-ki, Chairman of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Textile and Fabric Industry Cooperative, Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, and officials from Vietnam's textile and fashion sectors.

Along with the MOU signing, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Textile Cooperative also held a digital fashion briefing session, aiming to expand the online commerce industry, including mobile-based body measurement solutions, to Vietnam.


This visit program started with the Daegu International Textile Expo and the Fabric and Fashion Meeting Exhibition, followed by a tour of Space Oz at the Textile Hall and the digital fashion briefing session, visits to Korea Polytechnics Textile Fashion Campus, Geonbaek Co., Ltd., Daegu Textile Complex (DTC), and the Daegu Textile Museum. It is expected to provide comprehensive sharing and cooperation in the textile and fashion industry of the Daegu region.


Lee Seok-ki, Chairman of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Textile and Fabric Industry Cooperative, stated, “We will accelerate support for overseas expansion through the transfer and localization of the Space Oz business model to the ASEAN market, driving the expansion of marketing areas in regional textiles, fashion, and bedding.”
