Applications Open for Residents from June 6 to May 31... Cash Rewards for Outstanding Proposals
Hampyeong-gun has established a communication channel where residents can discover and propose unreasonable regulations in daily life, and is awaiting active participation from the citizens.
According to the county on the 3rd, the '2023 First Half Regulatory Reform Idea Contest' will be held to identify regulations that cause inconvenience to residents' lives and business activities.
The contest period is from the 6th to May 31st, and participation is limited to residents, public officials, and companies or organizations located within the county.
The contest is divided into three categories: daily life, economy, and others, while simple complaints, civil petitions, and proposals reflecting amendments to higher laws are excluded.
Submitted ideas will undergo first and second evaluations by the Regulatory Reform TF and the Regulatory Reform Committee according to related evaluation indicators, with the final announcement scheduled for July.
Outstanding proposers will receive awards and prizes: 300,000 KRW for the grand prize (1 person), 200,000 KRW for excellence (2 persons), and 100,000 KRW for encouragement (7 persons).
A county official said, “We ask for much interest and participation in this contest so that citizens can improve unreasonable regulations they have directly seen and felt in their daily lives.”
