10th Anniversary Museum SAN, 'Tadao Ando - Youth' Special Exhibition

Museum SAN is holding a special exhibition titled "Tadao Ando (安藤忠雄) - Youth" to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Prior to the exhibition, a guest lecture by the artist called "Bet on Your Dreams and Run" will be held, providing an opportunity to share thoughts on the dreams children should have in a rapidly changing world.

Architect Tadao Ando has gained attention for his architecture that closely integrates with nature, using water, light, glass, and exposed concrete, along with elements such as wind, trees, and sky. The exhibition will be held at the Museum SAN gallery in Wonju, Gangwon-do, which he personally designed, featuring about 250 representative works. It will be open to visitors from April 1 to July 30.

The lecture will take place on the evening of March 30 at the main auditorium of the Seoul National University Culture Center. It will be free for those who apply in advance. Applications can be made through the Naver Reservation website.

Tadao Ando stated, "Through this lecture, I want to emphasize that in the present time, where limited resources, food, and energy are being depleted, humans must always act with the whole Earth in mind in every field. As an architect, I have continuously pondered how to create a society where children can live with dreams. I would like to introduce the process of those thoughts and considerations."
