Pulmuone also stated that it will designate this year as the inaugural year for the K-snack business, aiming to expand volume both domestically and in exports, actively nurturing it as a new source of revenue. The launch of Chewy and Crispy Hotteok and Twist Kkwabaegi marks the first step in this direction.

Pulmuone has already gained popularity in the global market by exporting Korean favorite snacks such as hot dogs and cheese balls mainly to the United States and Japan. Hotteok is being exported to the US and Japan ahead of its domestic launch, and Kkwabaegi is also planned to be exported and sold in the Japanese market starting this month.

A Pulmuone representative said, "We launched new products that reinterpret K-snacks to meet consumer needs for enjoying street snacks in a healthy and delicious way," adding, "We plan to diversify and expand the K-snack product lineup both domestically and internationally as new premium frozen snacks."
