The public dormitory operated by Gyeonggi Province, 'Gyeonggi-do Dormitory,' has completed the move-in of 275 residents and started this year's schedule.
Gyeonggi-do Dormitory selected a total of 275 people this year, including 207 university students residing in 31 cities and counties within the province and 68 young adults. There were 433 applicants for the residents, resulting in a competition rate of 1.56 to 1.
For the residents, Gyeonggi-do Dormitory offers various programs such as ▲ G-Tour (an advanced European humanities accompanying teacher program) ▲ Cultural empathy programs for attending cultural and artistic performances and exhibitions ▲ Various programs preferred by the MZ generation, including golf and tennis.
Park Sang-eung, Director of the Education Cooperation Division of the province, stated, "Gyeonggi-do Dormitory will strive to serve as a platform that meets the needs of the MZ generation by providing various programs, shuttle services, and metaverse operations to help residents nurture their dreams."
