[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Wanyong] Dongyang Construction Industry announced on the 3rd that it will supply 7,843 households (including Line Construction volume) this year. Despite increased uncertainty in the sales market due to the sharp rise in interest rates since last year, the company plans to aggressively pursue projects by leveraging design competitiveness.
First, Dongyang Construction Industry will jointly launch the sale of Wirpark at Mareuk Park in Geumho-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju City with Hoban Construction this month. It is a complex embracing a park created through a private park special project, consisting of 917 households with exclusive areas of 84 and 132㎡. In May, it plans to sell 1,004 households in Samgak-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju City, and in June, 659 households in Pungam-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju City.
In the second half of the year, supply will focus on land development districts. In September, 1,068 households will be sold in Osan Segyo 2 District, Osan City, Gyeonggi Province, and 1,247 households in Dongtan New Town, Hwaseong. Then in October, sales are planned for ▲391 households in Paju Unjeong New Town ▲622 households in Asan Technovalley Phase 7, Chungnam ▲1,054 households in Asan Technovalley Phase 8 ▲845 households in Yangju Hoecheon District.
A Dongyang Construction Industry official said, "Through collaboration with Line Construction, we will do our best to create great synergy in the housing business and continue successful sales," adding, "We plan to achieve sales growth through business diversification and management innovation beyond housing, including construction, tourism and leisure, energy, and social contribution."
