Hapcheon-gun, Full Effort to Secure the Largest Ever National Road Funds in the 8th Elected Term

Discovered 90 Projects Worth 277.2 Billion KRW

Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, held the '2024 National and Provincial Subsidy Project and Public Contest Project Discovery Report Meeting' in a small conference room and has begun full-scale efforts to secure national and provincial funds.


A total of 90 projects worth 277.2 billion KRW were discovered at the report meeting, and to secure funding, the county plans to visit Gyeongnam Province, central government ministries, and the National Assembly according to the government budget schedule to make appeals and focus all efforts on securing national and provincial funds.

The county is focusing on securing project funds for ▲ key issues of the 8th elected administration ▲ fostering a profitable stay tourism industry ▲ expanding living SOC closely related to improving residents' quality of life ▲ creating safe and livable residential conditions.


County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol said, "Securing national and provincial funds is essential for the innovative development of county administration and the stable promotion of key projects," adding, "I hope everyone will do their best to implement policies that allow Hapcheon-gun to take a step forward through securing national and provincial subsidy projects and being selected for public contest projects."


Hapcheon-gun plans to supplement the projects presented at the report meeting and from March onward will actively visit Gyeongnam Province and central government ministries to explain project feasibility, activate personal networks including local members of the National Assembly, and strive to secure the largest-ever national and provincial funds and selection for various public contest projects in 2024.
