Patrol on the Way to and from School and Prevention of School Violence
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 2nd that it held a launching ceremony for the Child Safety Guardians.
Suseo Police Station awarded certificates of appointment to 50 Child Safety Guardians and conducted job training on how to respond to various situations for child protection. The newly selected guardians will be assigned to six local police substations and outposts in areas including Dogok and Daechi, where they will patrol the routes to and from elementary schools and engage in activities to prevent school violence.
Baek Nam-ik, chief of Suseo Police Station, urged, "I hope you do your best so that children, who are our future and assets, can grow up in a safer and happier environment."
