Coverage for Diagnosis, Surgery, Hospitalization, Outpatient Care, and Treatment with a Single Main Contract
ABL Life has launched an insurance product that covers everything from cancer diagnosis to treatment costs with a single main contract.
On the 2nd, ABL Life announced the release of the ‘(Non)ABL Hanaro Cancer Care Insurance (Renewable Type)’.
This product covers the entire cancer-related process?from diagnosis to surgery, hospitalization, outpatient care, and treatment?under the main contract without the need for additional riders. Furthermore, even if the insured is enrolled in other cancer insurance policies, they can join this plan without any limit on the subscription amount and without additional diagnosis. However, during the underwriting process, the company may request separate medical records depending on the applicant’s medical history.
Customers who subscribe to the ‘(Non)ABL Hanaro Cancer Care Insurance (Renewable Type)’ can receive coverage for cancer diagnosis (general cancer, minor cancer, re-diagnosis) as well as examination costs related to cancer treatment under the main contract. For cancer treatment, coverage includes cancer surgery, endoscopic cancer surgery, laparoscopic/thoracoscopic cancer surgery, open cancer surgery, and transplantation surgery of the five major cancer-affected organs (liver, kidney, heart, pancreas, lungs). Additionally, it covers high-cost but effective treatments such as CAR-T anticancer drug therapy and targeted anticancer drug therapy. Outpatient and hospitalization expenses associated with cancer treatment are also covered.
This product is available for individuals aged 16 to 65 and offers coverage up to age 100 with a 10-year renewable term. For a 40-year-old male and a 40-year-old female subscribing with a main contract insurance amount of 10 million KRW and a 10-year payment term, the monthly premium is 12,350 KRW and 26,840 KRW, respectively.
