Hyundai Transys announced on the 2nd that it held the 2023 Partners Day.
On the 28th of last month, Hyundai Transys held the Partners Day at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido under the theme "Boundary, the Beginning of Challenge and Change." This event is a gathering where Hyundai Transys executives and partner company representatives discuss ways to grow together. The 2023 Partners Day, held face-to-face for the first time in four years since 2019, was attended by 98 companies.
In his welcoming speech, Yeosu Dong, President of Hyundai Transys, said, "Thanks to the efforts of our partners who empathized with Hyundai Transys' vision and goals, Hyundai Transys' sales surpassed 10 trillion won for the first time in 2022," adding, "We will continue to grow together as a leading company in future mobility solutions through close cooperation with our partners."
This year's event, focused on communication with partners, was conducted in a town hall meeting format. In response to questions from partners, President Yeosu Dong and heads of various divisions such as planning, purchasing, powertrain, and seats answered, sharing the company's current status and vision, including future mobility business strategies and major product development plans.
As global economic growth slowdown is expected in 2023, questions related to crisis response from partners continued. Hyundai Transys presented a strategy to expand orders from global automakers and proposed three major goals for co-growth amid the global economic crisis: ▲quality competitiveness ▲technological competitiveness ▲management capability acquisition.
To achieve these goals, Hyundai Transys and its partners promised to establish themselves as trusted companies of global automakers through securing initial quality and stable supply, and to collaborate on developing core technologies leading the industry. Additionally, they plan to strengthen support for partners to practice ESG management and build a foundation for sustainable growth.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Transys operates the co-growth program ‘PARTNer.’ It supports partners based on five key tasks: Progress (corporate development support), Assistance (corporate continuity support), Reinforcement (capacity building support), Technology (technical support), and Network (communication channel establishment).
Every year, through communication with partners, new programs are introduced and continuous improvements are reflected to provide practical help. Even during the COVID-19 situation, active program operation by Hyundai Transys led to an average 6.3% increase in partners’ sales compared to 2019.
