Cheon Ha-ram, former chairman of the People Power Party's Suncheon Gap district in Jeonnam, who is running in the party convention, said, "I am 200% confident in the runoff between Cheon Ha-ram and Kim Ki-hyun."

On the same day, candidate Cheon appeared on SBS Radio and said, "What I currently lack is, in a way, presidential candidate-level recognition and weight, but the moment I defeat candidate Ahn, all of this will be resolved," adding, "Candidate Ahn Cheol-soo will lay out the red carpet for me."

Candidate Cheon summarized this party convention in one sentence as "A party convention given to Cheon Ha-ram after all the hard work," and stated, "If there were no runoff, I might not have received attention due to being overshadowed by candidate Ahn's recognition, but thanks to the runoff, members can vote according to their convictions." He continued, "The Cheon Ha-ram storm will become a typhoon the moment it defeats Ahn Cheol-soo," and predicted, "If a wind of change and reform blows among party members, candidate Kim Ki-hyun will receive about 45% and come in second."

Regarding candidate Ahn, he pointed out, "In the past few days, he has been shifting toward a reformist stance, but the realignment into 'Reformist Cheon Ha-ram' versus 'Old-fashioned Kim Ki-hyun' has already been completed, so hesitating now is like tripping over your own feet and falling off the stage."

About candidate Kim, he criticized, "Even with about 80% support from Yoonhakkwan (key aides of President Yoon Seok-yeol), Yoonsim (President Yoon's intentions), and the party organization, and help from the entire universe, failing to achieve even a majority, let alone 70-80% support, indicates that the Kim Ki-hyun risk is at work," and added, "Launching the 'Kim Na-yeon Alliance' (Kim Ki-hyun - Na Kyung-won alliance) in Daegu yesterday is also a symbol of anxiety."
