Seogwipo Coast Guard Conducts 'Teamwork Training to Strengthen Rescue Capabilities'

Seogwipo Maritime Police Agency announced on the 28th that, due to a large number of personnel changes in the February regular personnel appointments, teamwork training to strengthen the rescue capabilities of patrol vessels and police substations will be conducted until early April.


The purpose of this training is to maximize field practicality and quickly form teamwork between new and existing personnel to respond promptly to on-site situations.

The training includes operating rescue equipment and systems essential for teamwork formation, mastering terrain features such as jurisdictional danger zones, and conducting life-saving focused situational response training for 9 patrol vessels with 10 teams and 3 police substations.


A Seogwipo Maritime Police official stated, "Through this teamwork training, we will enhance the maritime rescue capabilities of frontline field departments, adhere to the basics, and become a maritime police force strong in the field for the people."
