Customized 'One-Stop Service' for Residents in Vulnerable Areas
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) visited Sayang-dong Village in Illo-eup on the 27th with the 'Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus' to provide customized welfare services to residents.
According to the county on the 28th, the 'Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus,' which started operating last year, is a project operated by the Jeonnam Social Service Agency under the commission of Jeollanam-do, providing customized one-stop services to residents in vulnerable health and welfare areas such as remote, island, and mountainous regions.
This year, Muan-gun visited Sayang-dong Village in Illo-eup as the first destination, offering various services such as hairdressing, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, InBody tests, stress tests, and medical consultations with public health doctors, bringing great happiness to the village elders.
Deputy Governor Kim Seong-hoon said, "We are pleased that residents in vulnerable health and welfare areas can receive customized integrated services," and expressed deep gratitude to the staff and volunteers of the Visiting Happiness Bus.
Meanwhile, the 'Visiting Jeonnam Happiness Bus,' which received great responses from village residents, plans to sequentially visit Maekpo Baekhak Village in Samhyang and Naedong Village in Unnam next month.
