Samsung Electronics announced on the 28th that Vice Chairman Han met with Robert Habeck, Germany's Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, at the government office in Berlin on the 27th (local time). Vice Chairman Han explained the strengths of Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo to Vice Chancellor Habeck. He also requested support for the Expo, stating that "the Busan Expo will serve as a platform to discuss ways for the world to grow together."

They are also supporting the 'SmartThings Energy' service, which allows real-time monitoring of power consumption of devices.
