Online Application Until the 10th of Next Month
Seoul City announced on the 28th that it will recruit 110 children aged 5 to 12 from multicultural and foreign families residing in Seoul to participate in this year’s ‘Multicultural Soccer Class with FC Seoul.’ Participating multicultural children can attend the soccer class free of charge.
This year, education will be held once a week (4 times a month, for 9 months) from March to the end of November at 12 venues including Gocheok Sky Dome, Tancheon Sports Complex, and Boramae Park, and various special activities such as attending an FC Seoul home game (once per person) are also prepared.
Multicultural families wishing to participate can apply through the Google form posted on the Seoul City website and the Seoul Multicultural Family website ‘Hanultari.’
Within 5 days after completing the application, proof documents must be submitted via email to the city official in charge, and selected children will be individually contacted by FC Seoul to provide detailed schedules.
Kim Seon-sun, Director of the Seoul City Women and Family Policy Office, said, “We will do our best to help multicultural children grow healthily through soccer, adapt to society, and foster self-esteem and pride as children from various countries interact and understand each other.” She added, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many multicultural and foreign families.”
