Exhibition Collaborating with Popular YouTuber 'Eggbaksa Team'
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 28th that it will hold the exhibition 'Egg Doctor Team Laboratory in Nodeul Island' together with the No. 1 popular YouTube creators in the animal and insect content field, the ‘Egg Doctor Team’, at Nodeul Island. This exhibition will be held at Nodeul Gallery Hall 1 on Nodeul Island until June 30.
Located on the Hangang Bridge, Nodeul Island is set to be reborn as an ‘art island where culture flows 365 days a year’ by presenting differentiated performances, exhibitions, and festivals. The 'Egg Doctor Team Laboratory in Nodeul Island' exhibition marks the starting point of this initiative and is expected to be greatly loved by young audiences who have a strong interest in animal and insect content.
The YouTube creators ‘Egg Doctor Team’ consist of three doctors: Egg Doctor, Yang Doctor, and Woong Doctor, who work closely together to produce diverse content, boasting about 470,000 subscribers. They easily convey fascinating insect and mysterious animal stories, earning much love from children. Thanks to their great popularity, they are expanding their activities beyond YouTube to various media such as comic books and IPTV.
Through this exhibition, visitors can directly experience the diverse content of the Egg Doctor Team, which was previously only available through videos, offline. The exhibition is organized into nine themes: ▲Egg Doctor Team Laboratory ▲YouTube Filming Room ▲Insect Specimen Observation Room ▲MiraeN Library ▲MiraeN Art Room ▲Brick Campus Room ▲EduSam Experience Room ▲AR Creation (Augmented Reality) Experience Room ▲Happy Baobab Board Game Room.
In particular, since the exhibition is held together with the YouTube creators ‘Egg Doctor Team’, three ‘Meet the Fans’ sessions have been arranged where visitors can meet them in person. Additionally, special programs such as talk shows, Q&A sessions, autograph signings, and photo events for subscribers and visitors will also be held.
'Egg Doctor Team Laboratory in Nodeul Island' is closed every Monday, and the exhibition viewing hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last admission at 7:30 p.m.). Admission is free and open to everyone, but for safe viewing, preschool children and lower-grade elementary students (grades 1?3) must be accompanied by a guardian.
Jeon Jae-myung, Director of the Seoul City Cultural Policy Division, said, “Through the exhibition with Egg Doctor, we hope children will cultivate curiosity about animals and insects with their families and have an opportunity to feel the nature of the Hangang River and Nodeul Island in the city.” He added, “Nodeul Island will continue to present differentiated cultural content that is hard to find elsewhere, offering new enjoyment to citizens.”
