In a video uploaded on the 25th to 'SeriTV,' Park Seri appeared explaining the basics of golf for those just starting out. Park Seri said, "When you first encounter golf, you often get confused by the various club shapes and names," adding, "First, it is fundamental to accurately familiarize yourself with the 14 clubs."

She then brought out a full set of 14 clubs and explained the names and characteristics of various clubs such as the sand wedge, approach wedge, and pitching wedge. She said, "As the iron number decreases by one, the average distance increases by about 10 meters," and added, "Recently, many clubs come in wood form, and using these results in even greater distance."

She also shared the three core elements of golf. Park Seri identified 'grip' as the most important first element of golf. She said, "Many golfers place the grip in the center of their palm, but this creates a gap between the palm and the grip, causing unnecessary force to be used." She advised, "If you hold the palm diagonally, you can grip the club entirely without any space." Then, she demonstrated by placing her right palm over the left thumb holding the grip.

The second fundamental golf skill emphasized by Park Seri was the 'address posture.' The correct address posture refers to maintaining a state where the center of gravity is not excessively shifted forward or backward when the club is lightly dropped forward. Park Seri explained, "The ideal state is when the center of gravity is slightly shifted toward the toes when you hold the grip and lightly lower the club forward," adding, "If you engage your lower abdomen in this state, you can concentrate your power all at once at the moment of impact."

The third element was 'directionality.' Directionality refers to the ability to accurately send the ball in the desired direction. Park Seri said, "The ability to send the ball accurately in the right direction is much more important than the ability to hit it far," advising, "Golf beginners should prioritize practicing hitting the ball accurately over focusing on distance."

She also shared methods to practice directionality. She recommended, "At first, keep the swing radius narrow and practice consistently hitting the same part of the ball," and added, "Gradually increase the radius to complete your swing."
