Lutronic Achieves Record High Sales Last Year... Operating Profit Up 87.3% YoY

Roottronic announced on the 27th that its consolidated sales for last year were tentatively estimated at 264.2 billion KRW, a 52.1% increase compared to the previous year. This is the highest amount since the company's establishment.

During the same period, operating profit rose 87.3% to 55.8 billion KRW. Net profit increased by 64.7% to 45.6 billion KRW compared to the previous year. The operating profit margin was 21.1%, and the net profit margin was 17.3%.

Roottronic explained that overseas sales significantly increased last year. Roottronic's U.S. subsidiary recorded sales of 109.3 billion KRW last year, growing 104.6% compared to the previous year. Total sales in Europe, including the German subsidiary, increased by 54.8% year-on-year to 57.9 billion KRW. Sales from the U.S. subsidiary accounted for 41.4%, and sales from the European region accounted for 21.9% of Roottronic's total sales. Overall overseas sales grew 61.9% compared to the previous year. Additionally, 88.2% of Roottronic's total sales were generated overseas.

A Roottronic official said, "Positive results were possible due to improvements in the product lineup focusing on high-priced, high-margin products and some foreign exchange effects," adding, "Selling and administrative expenses largely consist of investments in brand and marketing activities and the expansion of sales infrastructure." The products that Roottronic is currently focusing on selling include Clarity II, LaseMD Ultra, Hollywood Spectra, Roottronic Genius, and PicoPlus.
