Seongnam City Height Restriction Lift Citizen Countermeasure Committee Launched...Promoting Written Campaigns, etc.

The Seongnam City Height Restriction Complete Lift Citizens' Countermeasure Committee held its launching ceremony on the 25th and began full-scale activities.

The Pan-Citizen Countermeasure Committee for the Complete Resolution of Height Restrictions in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, has been launched.

On the 25th, the committee held its inauguration ceremony at Onnuri Hall on the first floor of Seongnam City Hall, with about 800 citizens in attendance, and announced on the 27th that it has begun full-scale activities.

The committee includes participation from over 80 civic organizations across politics, religion, culture, economy, and civil society within the region.

Dobong Sunim, the committee’s co-representative, emphasized in his greeting, "Without the complete resolution of height restrictions, the development of Seongnam City is far off," and stated that the launch of this public-private-government committee involving all sectors will serve as a turning point to achieve the complete resolution of height restrictions.

The committee plans to hold a one-day tea house event for the complete resolution of height restrictions on the 30th of next month, followed by a signature campaign and a rally involving one million Seongnam citizens.
