Yebyeonhyeop to Recruit 100 Participants for Preliminary Startup Package... 100 Million Won Funding Support

The Korea Women Venture Association is recruiting 100 female prospective entrepreneurs to participate in the Women-Specialized Preliminary Startup Package Support Project until the 15th of next month.

The Preliminary Startup Package is a project implemented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and managed by the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. Since 2018, the association has served as the women-specialized lead organization, discovering 534 prospective entrepreneurs and supporting their commercialization and startup efforts.

Female prospective entrepreneurs with innovative technologies will be discovered and selected to receive up to 100 million KRW in commercialization funds during the contract period. Practical programs necessary in the early stages of startup, such as essential startup education, investment attraction mentoring, and marketing, will be provided.

Yoon Mi-ok, president of the Women Venture Association, said, "To nurture the future generation leading the female venture industry, we will further expand technology startup programs like the Preliminary Startup Package to encourage women’s entrepreneurial challenges."

Detailed information regarding the project application can be found on the K-Startup website. The project briefing sessions scheduled for the 7th and 9th of next month can be applied for through the association’s website.
